Walks through the country house
The farmhouse is an intersection of trails that lead to the Natural Park of Monte Pausillo; there are many paths to walk on of various lengths.
Within the property there are two kilometers of marked paths with botanic information posts.
The Country House Malagronda is on the top of a hill that is 400m high and is surrounded by olive groves and a patch of Mediterranean woods. The Underwood is full of various scrubs mainly broom bell –heather and dog rose hawthorn and elm-leaved bramble. The woods are inhabited prevalently by wild boar, hares and pheasants. You can also do some bird watching of the birds that populate the Lake of Trasimeno.
At the foot of the hill two little streams border the properties “fosso Elceto” and “fosso Acquasanta”.
The first stream starts from a patch of holly oaks, the latter comes from natural spring drinkable fresh water called Acquasanta which could be the focal point of a walk.
